This page provides information to maintain instructor qualifications and provide online resources for courses.

 

2008 Instructor e-Lib Resources

Instructor Development Course:

The all new Instructor Development Course (IDC) has been approved for use and can be downloaded from the Education Department's web site. IDC replaces Part A and Part B of the Instructor Qualification Course. New instructor candidates will need to complete a series of tasks, utilizing a mentor, and pass a short exam. Paper copies of IDC and the exam can be ordered from ANSC, use ANSC item # 5502 (IDC Student Course Book) #5503 (Mentor Guide) and # 5534 (Exam). Currently there is no on line exam available.

C - Schools:

This Auxiliary C School Site has been designed as a one-stop portal for all USCG Auxiliary members looking for information about Auxiliary C School programs.  This site will grow as all C-School program managers post specific school information.  The USCG Auxiliary and the Office of the Chief Director of the Auxiliary (G- 3PCX) are dedicated in their support of Auxiliary training and want every student have all the necessary information they need.  C-School listings (AUXLAMS, ASOC, and AMLOC courses are included in the list) and the class dates are available.
