Fingerprinting

 

This course is designed for those seeking qualification to provide fingerprinting. This is required for PSIs as well as REC support.

 

National Staff Orientation Training

 

This course provides an in depth explanation of how the national staff of the Coast Guard Auxiliary is organized, how to communicate within this environment, and how to apply for a national staff position. You must score a minimum of 75 percent on the total of all quizzes on this course to pass the course and be eligible to wear the national staff medallion.

Expense Claim Reimbursement

 

This course is designed to assist you in working with travel orders and expense claims.

Marine Safety

Introduction to Marine Safety and Environmental Protection

 

This course lays the groundwork for operations in the rapidly evolving field of marine safety and environmental protection. It describes the integration of the underlying concepts and explains how they are applied in practice. It is the basic handbook introducing the concepts of the marine safety organization, history, missions, functions and programs of the United States Coast Guard.

 

Initial Indoctrination to Marine Safety

 

The objective of the IIMS course is to provide the knowledge necessary to
achieve competency in Marine Safety and to supply background for
advanced MS courses and field work. The information provided here will
assist in the preparation for the IIMS exam; however the exam will not
be offered online at this time. Currently, it is a proctored exam that
must be requested by your MSO or equivalent. Successful completion of
the exam is a requirement for Trident.
Completion of this course  is required for the Marine Safety Education Ribbon
.

Navrules

Expense Reimbursement Claim Preparation and Processing

As a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary, you may have occasion to submit a claim for reimbursement of expenses you incur while conducting Coast Guard or Coast Guard Auxiliary business. This course discusses the factors that affect how these claims are authorized, submitted, and processed.

 

Coast Guard Auxiliary Operations Policy

The Coast Guard Auxiliary Operations Policy is a course designed to acquaint you with the Operations Policy Manual. After taking this course, you should be able to take and pass the Operations Policy Manual examination.
